4th of July Post

Heading to the pool on the 4th of July!

Obviously, I was not in Michigan when these were taken.  We headed to North Carlonia to take care of the grandkids while their Day Care Center was closed over the 4th of July week.

Everyone loved the pool.  It was hot week in Asheboro, the temperature hit 100 degrees a couple times.

We tried to keep the babies undercover and had them lathered with sun products.  No one got a sunbrun and we were there for almost 3 hours.

This child has no fear whether she has a life jacket on or not.  She loves the water and was in it almost the enitre time.

Sydney enjoyed joining in the pool party games - such as balloon toss and diving for treasure.  She even won a prize, although I think it was just for being cute.

She was better at throwing than catching, pretty typical for this age.

Griffin Sawyer napping poolside, doesn't he look precious? I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with this little cuddle-bug.

We tuckered this one out too. 

We also had a BBQ with friends in the evening.
