Just finished reading

Cutting for Stone

This was a very lengthy book.
There were so many stories within the story
that when one mystery was solved, there were
others that were pulling you in deeper
and kept you reading long after you needed
to put the book down.

The majority of the tale takes place in Ethiopia
and starts with a secret union between a nun
and British surgeon.
It is a story of love, betrayal, medicine and
two brothers whose fates are forever intertwined.
A good read.

I am in the home stretch of a Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton- the third book of hers I have read and I recommend them all- 500+ pages but worth every page. I will have to add this one to my list.
