He's a Basketcase!

He's a basketcase.  I had to look up the meaning to make sure I wasn't inferring something I didn't mean to. 

This is one meaning I found. 

A person unable to function, esp. because of emotional disturbance.

Griffin did not care for sitting in the basket, at all.

He was in fact very emotional about it.

Different day, different shirt.  Same reaction.

No amount of sweet talk helped.

I even tried introducing a playmate to sit with him.

She wasn't sympathetic to his emotional crisis, instead she kept trying to take his Binkie out of his mouth.

And then Mama came to his rescue!
