Together for the first time

Griffin Sawyer, now 9 months old and his cousin Daniela Elizabeth 7 1/2 months met for the first time over the 4th of July weekend.  Daniela was born in MX and only recently moved to the US.  It was a challenge to take a decent picture of the two little ones together.

There were challenges a plenty, like an outfit with  a matching hat.  How do you get them to keep it on?

Challenge number 3, was to keep him from crawling away (hence the toy), but then I had to try to keep it out of Griffin's mouth so you could see his sweet smile.

Daniela decided she wanted his toy and it looks like Grifin is trying a karate move on her to keep her at bay.

And finally, no smiles, but they are side by side, the hat is on and they are both looking at the camera.  This is as good as it gets until the camera lady get more experince on how to wrangle two babies at once.  Aren't they sweet!
